What is your favorite day of the week?
Saturday. It's the one day during the week where it doesn't really matter what I do. If I want to sleep in, so be it.
Have you ever played matchmaker? How did it go?
Honestly, I started trying to play matchmaker with two long-time friends and I had to stop myself over a year ago... Both are divorcees... both live alone and are perfectly content being independent individuals. The guy is very conservative, Southern businessman. The gal is a very liberal, former NYC art director transplanted to the South... The more I thought about it... the more I knew I couldn't do it... I had a hard enough time finding my wife. (Thank God I did.) But, I wouldn't want to push people in a direction they might now want to go in.
How do you pass the time during a flight? What do you bring in your carry-on?
It's been a while since I've flown, but I usually bring along a few magazines and/or books I've been meaning to read. I also tend to bring music. (These days, I'd definitely have my iPod with me.) I'd also bring my Nintendo DS, just to pass the time.
If you could get someone in your life to start a blog, who would it be and why?
Man, talk about a loaded question! I could go in so many different directions with this... I guess that's why it makes for a great Question of the Day here on Vox.
It makes me wonder if Jesus Christ had a blog, what would he blog about? And would people read it? (I'd hope the answer would be yes.)
Well, I received my preview invite to Vox yesterday evening, and figured I would give this puppy a whirl. Already I like several key features of it. The Question of the Day is a great idea that should help to spark posts. I love the community aspects and the flickr integration. First impressions are everything and I like what I see so far.
